Mortal Kombat is the ninth instalment of the beat'em up franchise that makes Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom look like they are mindless kittens having a scrap.Personly, I love this game to bits, the amount of detail put into this game, both graphic and gameplay wise, is just godly. Great amount of characters and a brillaint story to boot, Mortal Kombat deserves the beat'em up of the year award. Only one downside to the game is that the end boss, Shao Kahn, is just a douche to play against...
